A workshop on soap and lotion making was conducted at GCTE as part of our community living camp. Unnikrishnan sir and ummar sir from Gandhi bhavan taught us how to make soap amd lotion.

Field trip - Kanyakumari
As part of our community living program, a field trip to Kanyakumari was organised.The places we visited included Jain temple at Chitharal, Thriparappu waterfalls and finally Kanyakumari.

session 2: First aid, Choking and CPR
The second day at community living camp began with a powerpact aerobics session which was handled by miss Jitha J.G.
We had a session on first aid. Jeevan sir( Fire and Rescue Dept.) discussed with us the basic first aids to be given to a person in cases of emergency. He also demonstrated the technique of giving CPR and the first aid for choking.
Session 3: Be safe and strong
A group of self defence trainers from thambanoor police station taught us some techniques for self defence.
Session 4: Artificial Intelligence

Session 5: Mobile Addiction
The last session of the day on the topic "Mobile Addiction" was taken by Dr. Unnikrishnan R.Nair.
Community Living Camp- Sanctity '23
As part of B.Ed. Curriculum (2019), University of Kerala, Sanctity, a five-day community living camp was organized from 1-3 March & 13th and 14th March, 2023. The camp was held at the heritage building, Thanjavur Ammaveedu- West Fort, Thiruvananthapuram.

Inaugural session
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Raghu Ramdas, Deputy director, Mithra Niketan. This was followed by a keynote address by our principal Santhosh sir.
Session 2 : Introducing the heritage building
This session was handled by sri. Saju c. Raveendran who explained every details about the building.
The resource person was sri. satheesh kumar C P ( Deaf School, Vazhuthacaud)
Sports session was around 4.30 to 6.00 pm.
Session 5: Malaylam Cinema innu innale naale.
We had a quite interactive session on movies with film director Anil Dev.
Session 6: Shaping the future: Science
This particular session was handled by Sri. Rajesh Babu V, Principal HM, Cottonhill school.
